Families bringing urban woodland back to life

Nature Vibezzz ran another free family activity on their Big Lottery Funded Regeneration of Knight’s Hill Wood community project on Saturday 10th June 2017. Yet again there was a big turn out of participants helping turn an small underused wood into a community asset. On the day participants mended wooden fencing around the boundary of the wood, removed unwanted ivy, litter picked the site, created woodland wildflower areas and seeded them. Children built dens, enjoyed free play, drawing, rope climbing and swings. The activity finished with a healthy fruit snack.
